Digital Recorded
Driving Lessons - Watch: Save: Playback
Your ARC Driver Training Centre Driving Instructor
uses a fantastic complete in-car video training system developed by
a grade 6 ADI/PDI trainer, during your driving lessons
Imagine the possibilities an in-car video training system could
bring to your driving lessons with additional learning opportunities
helping you to develop and understand your driving skills away from
the pressures of actually having still to concentrate on your
driving.
The in-car video training system
Reliable, small and compact, the in-car video training system comes
with FOUR Mini Cameras, a hard drive recorder (to record your
lessons) and a sun visor LCD monitor (to review driving manoeuvres
in car).
Students with an in-car video
training system PC pack, (available at no extra cost, deposit
required) will have their own CF hard drive, USB convertor and PC
Software allowing them to view, edit and save all or part of their
driving lessons on the home computer.
Four Cameras recording simultaneously
With two cameras facing forward, one
directly in front and one slightly offside, students can gain a
complete view of everything that was happening during their lesson.
Previous students have found it very useful to use these cameras to
review their roundabout driving skills, helping them assess their
timing and reducing hesitancy, which can be a assessed as a serious
driving fault when completing the driving test.
An internal camera, positioned at the back of the
vehicle viewing forward. Students can watch their actions and
movements, monitoring steering technique, use of hand controls and
also monitoring the use of mirrors and blind spot checks. All
important feedback that will allow students to develop safe driving
styles quickly.
A rear facing camera
monitoring the road behind. Completing the all round
view required by drivers, the last camera of the system, allows
students to monitor the actions of other road users, when they
respond to their actions. So observing following distances, car
responses to speed or direction changes, all essential driving
skills required for all drivers to remain safe, confident and aware
on the roads today.
Audio
Channel
The in-car video recording
system isn't a silent recording system, the system also records
audio within the car. Students can listen back to their lesson
briefings and feedback throughout their lesson, they will also be
able to monitor engine noise and some external noise from close
proximity.
Home PC Software
Compatible with most Microsoft Windows platforms,
students can use the software to watch entire lessons, or fast
forward to specific points. The recording process allows sections of
the lesson to be recorded, so that could be a set manoeuvre like
parking or reversing or simply a specific road or junction. Clips
can then be saved on the home PC allowing for more lessons to be
recorded on the CF Drive.
Parents/ Guardians and the In-Car Video Recording System
Learning to drive, to pass a driving test and become
a safe responsible driver takes time, and isn't a cheap process. The
in-car video recording system however allows you as a parent to

Instructor will always be happy to discuss and review driving
lessons from the in-car video recording system with you. This is

tuition with some private driving practice.
