ARC Driver Training
Centre & the Road Safety Academy's 2Young2Die project
Shockingly, one in four car drivers killed or seriously injured
is under 25, yet just one in fifteen car drivers is in this age
group.
By running workshops with young people on the dangers of
speeding, drink and drugged driving and not wearing seat belts and
being a passenger with a young driver, Mark Born our presenter hopes
to help reduce the number of youngsters killed or seriously injured
on the road.

glossy guide to staying alive on the road, specifically written
for young drivers
- Sober Up leaflets - the facts on drink and drugged driving,
specifically aimed at young drivers
- Tyre tread indicator cards - credit-card size card with a
tyre tread indicator and Brake’s ‘Pledge to Drive Safely’ tips

ARC Driver Training
Fundraising for Brake
In 2009 ARC Driver Training joined other fundraisers in Scotland
to scale the dizzy heights of Ben Nevis, some 1,344 metres
(4,409 ft) above sea level.
Through sponsorship and on-line donations we raised almost £300
for Brake Road Safety Charity.
We haven't decided yet what adventure to undertake this year,
maybe the three peaks, a parachute jump or even swimming with
sharks!
